Athlete Assistance Bursary Program

The purpose of the Athlete Assistance Bursary Program is to financially assist Langley Mustang athletes who:

• Qualify to attend National Championships or any Canadian Track & Field League sanctioned event; and

• Are selected to and accept a position on Team BC; and

• Are selected to and accept a position on a Canadian National Team.

The intent of the program is to provide support to our Mustang athletes striving to represent the club, Team BC and Canada in competition. The program seeks to relieve some of the financial pressures associated with training and competing in national and international Track & Field events.

To focus of support is for athletes in the “training to compete” and “training to win” stages of Canadian Sport for Life – Long Term Athlete Development Model.
