- Cross country training for JD and High School aged athletes now underway
- High School Track Group registration is now open for the 10 month training program, starts Sept 21, 2020
- Keep checking our home page for more announcements regarding programs
Return to Competition
BC Athletics will allow track meets with certain restrictions so the Mustangs will look into what opportunities we can take advantage of for our track athletes in the new year. Regional and provincial meets will be sanctioned by BC Athletics but any events must ensure the maximum number of people in the competition area does not exceed 50 at anytime.
Renovations continue at McLeod Athletic Park on the stadium roof but we are expecting access to be restored for us later this fall but with certain restrictions related to Covid. We are working closely with the Township of Langley and other user groups to establish a fair and equitable access plan, stay tuned for updates. The track competition and training areas are completely ready and has undergone a number of upgrades including a complete resurfacing and colour change, four lane 60m warm track at the south end of the stadium, an expanded high jump apron, and an expanded long jump area with a third landing pit.
