More Awards for Three Mustangs
BC Athletics has announced it nominations for the top track and field athletes. Mustangs Jade Vaughan and Stuart Ellenwood have both been nominated for the top 15 year old athletes award.
Jade won three medals at the Canadian Track and Field Championships. In the 15 year old category, she won a bronze in the 80 meter hurdles, a silver in the 300 meter hurdles and a gold in the 4X100.
Stuart won two medals at the Canadian Track and Field Championships. In the 15 year old category, he won bronze in the 400 meters, and a silver in the 800 meters.
Coach Kevin Harrison is to be honored with the BC Athletics Coaching Excellence Award for his work with Junior Development Athletes (ages 9-14)

9 Langley Mustangs Honoured at Provincial Awards Banquet
Langley Mustangs were out in full force at the annual BC Athletics Junior Development Awards Banquet held on October 26, 2008 in Vancouver. Over 70 athletes ranging in age from 9 to 14 years old from across BC earned the distinction by exceeding the highest provincial standards of athletic performance. These young athletes represent the next wave of high performance track and field in the province. They are rewriting the provincial record books with 15 all-time BC performances, 2 provincial records, and 52 individual provincial medals earned this year.

Jacob Houlton (high jump, javelin, shot put, pentathlon)
Girls:
