The Western Canada Summer Games, 2015 Wood Buffalo, are to be held in northeastern Alberta. The Games continues the western Canadian tradition of a multi-sport competition providing opportunities for amateur athletes to compete in a multi-sport games. Many participating athletes have gone on to compete for Canada internationally. Track and Field is one of 18 sports at the Games, which will bring together over 2500 athletes from Canada’s four western provinces and three northern territories.
