Georgia Ellenwood, recently back from NACACs in El Salvador, reflects back on what the BC Summer games meant to her.

Kari, Stuart, Georgia, Dean and David Ellenwood have competed in the BC Summer Games since its inception. Starting with David Ellenwood in Water Polo and Kari Ellenwood in soccer. Then continuing with their children Stuart and Georgia in Track and Field and tentatively ending with youngest Dean Ellenwood in Track and Field. The BC Summer Games has been a family affair for the Ellenwoods.

Nic Colyn was one of thirty-six athletes names to Canada's team to compete at the IAAF World U20 championships in Bydogszcz, Poland.
​The 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships will be streamed live on AthleticsCanada.tv Tuesday, July 19th to Sunday, July 24th

A number of local Athletes have qualified to compete in the Senior and Junior nationals held in Edmonton. This high quality meet is also the setting of the Canadian Olympic trials. Georgia Ellenwood, Melissa Fraser and Regan Yee will all be competing at the Senior competition, while Tanika Dolfo (hammer throw), Dean Ellenwood (400m), Alex Savage (long jump) and Joanna Williams (3000m steeplechase) will be competing at the Junior level.
